As a child, I faced one of the toughest battles—acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Through it all, the care and kindness I received from my healthcare team shaped me in ways I could never have imagined. They weren’t just doctors and nurses; they were my superheroes, giving me strength when I needed it most.

Growing up, I was inspired by superheroes of all kinds—those who wore capes and those who didn’t. I knew that one day, I wanted to give back, to be a part of a child’s story in a way that made them feel strong, capable, and fearless. That dream slowly became Sidekick Smiles.

At Sidekick Smiles, we believe that every child is the hero of their own journey. Sometimes, heroes need a sidekick—someone to cheer them on, to give them confidence, to make the hard moments a little easier. That’s where we come in. Dentistry isn’t just about teeth—it’s about trust, empowerment, and helping kids see their own strength.

I know what it’s like to be a child facing something scary. But I also know the power of feeling supported, of having someone believe in you. My greatest hope is that every child who walks through our doors leaves knowing they are strong, they are brave, and they are unstoppable. Because every superhero deserves a sidekick.
